Our story begins in 1983 before BBQ became cool.  My father owned and operated the Peach Capital Cafe in Porter Oklahoma.  Behind the cafe was an offset smoker that he designed and fabricated named, The Smokin Bull .  It was there that my love of smoked meats and the restaurant culture was born.

My love of cooking and food culture in general has never dampened.  I got my first job as a bus boy at age 13, and had just about every job in a restaurant since that time.  The last 15 years I gained exposure to the product side of the business serving as a consultant for two of the largest distributors in the country.  That experience added another dimension to how I saw food, service, and people.  I realized the old ways of cooking were fading fast.  COVID was a wake up call.  It made me take personal inventory about the path my life was on and if I was really serving my purpose.  After some soul searching I decided to break away and return to my roots and love of cooking.  In 2020 I set a plan in motion to open a mobile food trailer equipped with a kitchen capable of executing scratch recipes using decades old recipes passed down from my family.

We opened our window in October of 2020, and we are having the time of our lives.  To me there is something magical about a well prepared dish and a smiling face at the end of every plate served.  We truly love what we do and can't wait to serve you.

We hope to meet you soon.  Thank you for taking minute to get to know our story.
